You probably know the basic rules of using a straightener, like always spray a heat protectant before styling your hair, and don’t turn the heat higher than 400°F. And while you probably abide by these rules already, you are likely neglecting one very important yet rather tedious one: Clean your flatiron. To make sure we know how to do this properly, read on HERE.
This classic and oh-so-chic outfit is open to one of the biggest questions a fashion lover in 2020 can ask themselves… what TYPE of JEANS? If you scroll through any store online or walk into any store IRL, there’s an overwhelming amount of denim options. Skinny, boot cut, flared, tapered, kick-flare, straight leg, mom jean, dad jean, boot cut… the list goes on and on! Read on HERE by my fave blogger Chriselle Lim!
Teeth whitening is a multi-billion dollar industry, but unfortunately many teeth whitening treatments contain harsh chemicals that can leave teeth feeling sensitive for a long time. I wanted to find natural ways to whiten my teeth that not only worked well, but were also safe. Since chemicals can easily absorb through the sensitive skin in the mouth, I wanted to only use options that were safe enough to eat. Of course, none of these things are a replacement for normal dental care and I asked my dentist before using these (you should too!). I’ve found that these methods work great along side my normal brushing and flossing routine.
Late-night deadlines and environmental toxins can stress the delicate skin around the eyes, causing puffiness and dark circles. A natural remedy that is an alternative to the old cucumber standby is green tea bags. Loaded with antioxidants and plenty of tannins, green tea bags shrink swelling and reduce the fluids around the eyes. Causes Puffiness around the eyes can be caused by lack of sleep, overwork, skin disorders and hypothyroidism. Pregnancy can cause fluid retention and puffiness around the eyes. A high-salt diet also causes fluid retention. Other causes come from toxins through alcohol and tobacco use. Hormonal changes, skin disorders and allergies affect the delicate skin around the eyes. Despite popular belief, lack of sleep, fatigue and staying out late are not the main causes of dark circles under the eyes. Some of the more common causes are allergies, eczema, heredity, smoking, drinking, nasal congestion that dilates and darkens under-eye veins, sun exposure and thinning skin, according to the Mayo Clinic. Treatments Placing brewed tea bags on the eyes for a short time period …
ABSOLUTELY my fave line of shoes! I could look for hours in Macy’s and still not find I shoe I love but I ADORE almost every single sandle, shoe, flip flop, slip on from fibi & clo. Pictured here is the first pair I ever purchased and I have others as well. I am enamored with the design (you can dress up or down), the comfort, the style and the selection! Try them and you’ll never go anywhere else!
Say what you will about hipster style, but the too-cool-for-school approach to dressing—mastered and perpetuated by those who call themselves “hipsters”—has had a pretty massive impact on street style, pop culture, and the world of fashion at large. People all of all ages are loving and strutting this fabulous look! So how can you get the look? Read on at Who What Wear HERE.

As a blogger I am often sent things to review and blog about and then there are the times I see something and I’m like “I think I will LOVE that!” and I try it! I had seen Jamberry on the Direct Sales circuit, then met an amazing consultant and jumped in. Signed up, got a kit, can sell it, the whole shebang! I can NOT stress to you how amazing this product is and how much easier it has made my life! Last night I was playing scrabble with my son and putting on my Jamberry nails. You can’t play scrabble with wet nails! Love it! AND I feel prettier. I’d love to share this product with you so if you would like more info, comment and I will send! Hugs!
Two years ago I sincerely thought the tassel thing would pass real quick. I saw it as a real niche style that only certain people would like but I was wrong. I didn’t like tassels at all and now I LOVE! I have some on order from Stella & Dot and I can’t wait for them to arrive. If you have tassel fever, let me know and I’ll hook you up with some pretties! Then there’s the lace up sandal thing. I did that, sort of, in high school in the 80’s and was like the only one at my school wearing them. That look DID NOT take off then the way it is now. Again, another thing that I thought would pass a couple of summers ago. I didn’t get into it and now I am looking for the perfect pair. My online boutique will be open soon and I can NOT wait to stock them! Have you tried either of these fashion statements? Let me know what you think.
